There are many elements to consider when designing a web page or website.  The very first thing you need to consider, who is your target audience and what are you trying to convey to them. That is the foundation of a functional website.

• Who is your target audience
• Will this be information only or are you selling a product or service
• Do you have a logo to use on the site. 
• What color(s) do you want to emphasize
• Do you have photos you'd like to use on the site.

Once these thing are in mind, you will need to contact your web designer.  With your designer, you will discuss the above questions, any other idea's you have for your site, amount of server space, features you'll need and your budget.

What is a brochure site?   A brochure site is a one page "ad" that includes up to 2 graphics (plus your logo) and text under 200 words.
